Very comfortable stay!
Very comfortable rooms, great housekeeping, 5 mins walk to heart of town, friendly reception, basement parking.....all good. Would stay again, only small point I would make is that the breakfast room is quite small, ok for us in Sept but can imagine in peak season would be very busy - the breakfast times seem to vary too so you need to double check with reception.

Mostly a good hotel but just a couple of problems
This is quite a big hotel on the edge of town so it's a 10-15 min walk to get to most of the shops & restaurants although there are some restaurants closer if you don't want to walk. The underground parking was useful although it should be noted that larger vehicles won't fit in all the spaces because of the hotel's ducting being in the ceiling of the car park. Do check before driving straight into a space. Some things were a little tired - the tap and toilet roll holder were broken. We had a room with a bed in a loft area and this was a bit noisy due to it being above the extractor fan in the bathroom which you couldn't operate yourself. Sounded like a washing machine on spin! Breakfast is advertised as being from 7am but we were never able to get it that early. The coach company guests staying there got first go and other guests had to look at a notice each day to see what time we could eat. It was 7.30, 7.45 or 8am, a little annoying for those days we wanted to get away early. Overall, a good stay in a nice hotel though and I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel
Excellent in every way. If I have to make one small criticism, the breakfast area gets too congested

Quiet and comfortable in Banff
I would definitely recommend Banff Inn, the staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and was allocated a room at the back of the hotel away from the main road. The room was actually a duplex and the bedroom was located upstairs and away from the outside wall and so there was no noise at all. We ordered a take away pizza from the restaurant on site and it was delicious - perfect after a long day hiking. Thanks Banff Inn for a great stay.
