Exceptional 10.0
Lovely place, lovely people!
It was a lovely place to stay. Everyone was really friendly and approachable if you had a question. Rooms were clean, bathroom was lovely! Round the corner from a shop so we could grab some drinks and crisps if we wanted to, One small issue I had was that the room got a bit too hot sometimes but other than that, I loved it and I would definitely come again if I plan another trip there!

Very good 8.0
Cat alarm clock.
Clean enough hotel, in a fantastic location, a littl small on the room size but for two people nothing that you can’t put up with for a couple of nights. Lovely bathrooms ! Just a tad on the noisey side, there’s a cat that must chase a toy with a bell on in the lobby all early hours of the morning, and was quite often woken by meowing, or people chatting (walls are thin) overall it done the job for a short pleasant time away.

Amazing value for money !!!!
Great value for money and felt very comfortable staying here alone. Great transport links to centre and not far walk to the centre either. Friendly staff and great service with fresh clean towels and bedding everyday of my stay. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Poor 2.0
never again - reckless staff & maintenance need
Facilities needs serious maintenance.Plus this hotel has one of the most reckless staff I have ever seen. When we checked in,we found our room (#4) really cold. The balcony door was open all the way (November in Amsterdam) and we discovered heating core (radiator) is not functioning.I informed the guy at the reception (he was the only one cares about problems in the hotel). He couldn't fix the heating problem, but he arranged a room change for the next day. When we checked in the second room (#14) on next day again we found balcony door was open all the way and we again heating core (radiator) is not functioning.I informed the reception again. This time the girl at the reception didn't care and said she can't do anything about it.I took some hand tools and started to fix the heating core by myself(I am an engineer). Then I discovered how cheap their system is and most probably never had maintenance for years.I managed to fix it at the end of an hour and had a warm room at the end.The staff didn't pay any attention or cared about the situation at all. Additionally: There were open ended screws on the night stand which cause serious safety risk. Housekeepers barge into rooms without knocking the door or asking for permission. Generally dirty and untidy. They have the worst and slowest elevator I have ever seen. They piled up all dirty linens onto our languages during the waiting period after check out. I had to dig the linens to get our stuff while hotel staff watching
