About Hilton Austin

Stylish high-rise with pool, in Austin's lively urban core

Smack dab in downtown ATX

Right next to the convention center, the Hilton is within walking distance of many of the city's biggest draws. You can browse West 6th Street's antiques and artwork - as well as 2nd Street's locally owned shops - in under a half-hour, or walk to the Texas Capitol in 16 minutes.

Austin scene and cuisine

You'll be 2 blocks from the 6th Street Entertainment District, home to world-renowned music festivals like SXSW. Year-round, 6th Street clubs and bars host everything from rock and hip-hop to country and blues, and there's plenty of hearty Tex-Mex fare around here, too.

Lap pool, skyline view

The outdoor saltwater lap pool and hot tub face the Austin skyline and an adjacent tiki bar offers cool cocktails. The health club includes a gym, saunas, and spa treatments, and when it's time to dine, you can feed your Texas-sized appetite at the hotel's restaurant. Free WiFi is available in all public areas.

Allergen-free bedding

Guestrooms at this 31-story hotel are smoke-free and boast allergen-free duvets and pillows, so you won't be sniffling when making drinks at the minibar or watching premium cable on the flat-screen TV. Some rooms have skyline views, and all offer conveniences like WiFi and coffeemakers.

Our stay was to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday . In the 10 days stay we unfortunately had an issue where our room was left to clean until 5pm having left it at 1030am this I find unacceptable the excuse given 'They had lots of people checking out' not good enough.

V well located , but needs better guests service
I think the main part was the room service was extremely slow. I received my food or anything else at least 40mins to 60mins after requesting. The hotel reception staff is fab. Very welcoming and helping. The room I got was for disabled which I had not asked for. So that could be one reason why the room had a different setup.
