Great nights sleep
As you would expect this hotel really is 5* Great sleep - good mattress and pillows. Excellent location. 300m from the "House of 100 beers" Fantastic selection if you are a beer drinker. But probably of no interest if you are not!

Good 6.0
Nice but not worth the money
Room was nice, but not upto the price of the room. Bed was exceptionally comfy though. Bathroom was amazing, shame the room wasnt as luxurious! Electricity in the room didnt work, asked to wait in the room at 2030hrs, 1.5hrs later I had to chase reception when an electrician then came 20mins later. Sadly this wasted my birthday evening, which was the whole point of staying here. Electrician then informed us he had been sat in the staff room all evening! Moved to das stue which was exactly what I expected and excellent value. Showed the Ritz up

Renovation ongoing
Hotel is in renovation, noise on going on from 9:00 - 18:00. Left the hotel and checked into another one close by. Cancelling the room was accepted easily, no hazzle , upfront information would have been helpful.

New Favorite Hotel
Out of all the hotels I've ever stayed in, this was without a doubt the hotel with the best customer service. Everyone from the valet, front desk, to room service, was incredibly helpful and kind. They went out of their way to treat you like a human being and not just a traveler. Every time I return to Berlin, this hotel will be at the top of my list. The room itself was extremely comfortable and spacious. Wonderful bed!

Exceptional 10.0
The Ritz is an excellent Hotel and one of my favorites. Located in the Potsdamer Platz area and close to so many landmarks within walking distance. This hotel never disappoints.

Very good 8.0
Very nice - but not perfect
The facility was was very nice as you would expect from a Ritz property. However, a few less-than-ritzy things dropped my rating. The toilets are located in the shower. Not next to it - IN the shower. So you will need to dry the floor surrounding the toilet after each shower if you hope to use it later without getting your clothes wet. The second demerit was the missing and moldy grout in the shower. We were not happy about having to stand in the mold lines around the drain. Not what you would expect here. Last, the elevators stopped working at one point during our stay. Although they were scrambling to figure out the problem, there was no notification to residents or adequate signage posted to work around this inconvenience. Altogether, there did not appear to be a well-documented plan of action for such an event and I would expect more from this hotel. If this were a Marriott or Hilton property, I could overlook such details. But for a Ritz-Carlton, this should be unacceptable.

Very good 8.0
Great stay.
Location was incredible and service was great! Only issue we had was that our room was a bit tired. We had, for example, mould in our shower which is unacceptable for a Ritz property. Would I recommend- absolutely! You can’t beat the location.
