Stayed in a King superior room. Room was very big with lots of room. Breakfast was enough. Had eggs, cereal, danishs. Hotel right on Florida pedestrian street. Just a few blocks from the Galleria mall.

WE GOT ROBBED! We went out to the city today and when we came back we came back to a surprise. We were taking our cloths for tomorrow we realized that one of our shirts were gone! We are staying here for 3 nights and the one day we asked them to clean the room the shirt was gone. It was a new shirt and was branded. It was about $50! And we can’t find it. But overall everything else was fine. Location is prime. Breakfast was simple. Room was clean. Overall I recommend this hotel but you should always have locks on your bags and keep everything in the safe. Or the cleaning staff might snoop through your stuff

Hotel seemed nice at first, but they were clearly understaffed and infrastructure was NOT maintained. My mom run out of hot water, heating on our floor broke down the 3rd night we were freezing for some hours and the elevator got stuck when we first arrived.

Most of the hotel is basically fine. About what the price point should deliver. Except the following: The wifi provided (at least in my room) was terrible. Eventually I had to buy credit for my phone and use my phone as a hotspot. The service (specifically responding to my internet issues) was in the first instance terrible. No attempt to resolve and no apology. The breakfast was unusually light on for choice. Not terrible, basically fine, but less than expected for the price point, I think. Plus side: The hotel is in a great location and the lobby plays classic hits all day. I know that because the lobby internet works.

We stayed at Howard Johnson's on Florida Street on a previous visit and found the location and amenities to be perfect, so we returned this past week for a few nights while we were in B.A. This hotel is clean and quiet with very effective blackout curtains. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is fabulous with eggs, ham, cheese, potatoes, and a wide variety of fresh fruits, juices, and breads. Every staff member that we made contact with was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as we could walk to the subway, the port area, and all over the center of the city. Having baggage storage was especially nice since our flight home wasn't until 8:30 PM, and we didn't have to worry about our luggage while we spent the day exploring. We definitely recommend staying here

Everything was good . Very convenient. Even if you don’t drink coffee but if you open the packet , you have to pay extra . Room coffee maker is not free.
