It was a pretty decent hotel and reasonably good breakfast buffet, but nothing special. Helpful staff.

Decent budget hotel
Reasonably comfortable hotel in a good location. Clean but worn small room, elevator noises were annoying at night. Breakfast was good, nice staff as well.

Close to transportation ++
Fairly good location. Very close to the train station which was a big plus. Breakfast was great and the people were nice and helpful. Room was very dated and a little run down.

Easy to get to from Firenze SMN train station
Hubby and I stayed here as part of our bigger European vacation. We only stayed here one night but I feel like we got a good feel for the city in that time. This hotel is very close to the train station and very walk able with luggage. Just a heads up, (and this is not the fault of the hotel) there is a strong scent of urine out on the street near the front of the hotel. There were a few streets in Florence that had that same aroma so I am not sure what that's about. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to leave our luggage when we checked in early because our room wasn't ready yet. The room itself was small and tired looking/feeling. The beds were a bit firm but not terrible. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure. There is no view with this hotel. The appeal for this place is mostly location to the train station and it's position within the city being central enough to allow you to explore on foot. There are lots of food/beverage/shopping options nearby. Overall, this is not a bad hotel. If you are just looking for clean, relatively comfortable, no frills type property, and a pleasant staff then this place is for you.

Perfectly central location
Location was so central to all we could have hoped to do. Great restaurants, laundry near by and a seamstress for an emergency repair. I felt really at home. Balcony was a real plus. Noisy on weekends because lots of people nearby.

Had a hard time with the air conditioning because settings for 3 consecutive rooms must be the same, don’t get it....other than that it was what we expected

Highly Recommended!
We booked here because of it's location - a very easy walk from the train station. Reception was welcoming, had our reservation and the elevator was large enough for 2 adults and 3 large suitcases!. Our room was on the 3rd floor, had a balcony and lovely view of the dome of the Duomo. The hotel is old, but is in very good condition. Was very quiet. Bathroom was modernized and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The hotel is a little distance from the center of town, but the walk takes you past the Central Market which is a wonderful place, especially the food stalls! Florence is a beautiful city to wander and this hotel met all our needs.

Good well located hotel.
Had stayed here before (2016) with my wife, which is why I chose it this time. I would choose it again if I return to Florence. Ideal location - handy to station, the main features of Florence and good eating. Clean hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast.
