Great welcome from the reception staff, very helpful & polite. Breakfast did exactly what breakfast needed to do, varied enough for most people to find something they like. Parking in the shopping centre car park which is a short walk to the hotel ( row H is closest to the escalator / lift / stairs ). All in all a great place to stay in Portsmouth.

There’s disabled parking right at the hotel but to understand how to access it call the hotel direct so you don’t get caught out. The rooms are on the small side as are the beds, we had a room for 3 adults. Breakfast was good and plenty available. If Miles is on reception you’ll be well looked after. He explained all about the Quays and shopping and dining options and really knows his stuff. It makes it easier to shop till you drop knowing the hotel is easily accessible

This is an excellently located hotel for Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Docks, Fratton Park. It is a typical travel lodge style, simple and unfussy. The free 24 hours parking is a real bonus. The breakfast is also excellent. The room was a little tired, but for the price, location and friendly staff I'd still rate it excellent.

Convenient location on Gunwharf Quays. Staff were very nice and very helpful. A shame the aircon is not working. I understand it needs repair and there is a dispute berween the hotel and Gunwharf about who is responsible for the repair. There was a some noise from nearby bars or club 'til late. Also other guests were a bit noisy returning late to their rooms. The bed was comfortable, apart from the room temperature issues! The window was locked shut so no fresh air ventilation.
