A bit different.
Single room without private facilities wouldnt suit everyone. Rather different to staying in a hotel. Good breakfast. But you have to walk to find a restaurant

Needs refreshing.
Easy to find lovely large room air con good, good clean bathroom with shower, massive bed but here comes the downside, we had to ask for the sheets and pillow cases to be exchanged for clean ones. There comes a time that the manager replaces old pillows and dirty top cover for new ones. Boston accommodation is expensive anyway we didn't feel this was worthy of the price.

Shared bathroom
It wasn’t clear to me when I booked the room that it was a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and nice though.

A comfortable stay in a rather unusual hotel
Very happy with our short stay, two nights. An 1860 building which has been decorated and furnished in a sympathetic and attractive style. It is specifically only bed and breakfast, but hot drinks and biscuits were available at any time. The Continental breakfast was as you would expect and was good. The room was large and comfortable with a shower. Perhaps a slight criticism is that the room was a little cool - this was the beginning of November. We chose the hotel due to its location. It is a short walk to the Public Park and Common and then to Downtown, perhaps about 15 to 20 minutes. The hotel ( actually the oldest women's club in the USA) was very quiet when we were there. We would certainly stay there again if coming to Boston.

Welcoming & pleasant stay
Lovely place to stay, very homely and welcoming. The staff were friendly. Set on a beautiful street, Commonwealth Avenue. Well located to visit the wider city. Would happily return.
