Property was certainly adequate for our stay, but the vibe was definitely different than what I expected from the photography and it was very overpriced. I can't get over the fact that they charged more for a drink than I paid at Scorpios - just wildly bizarre pricing. Our initial room (superior sea view) was a huge disappointment. It was small and laid out weird, with the bathroom sinks in the main room next to our bed, the tv against a wall that you couldn't actually view from the bed, and a loud, busy road right outside the door. Luckily, when we complained, we were upgraded to a very nice deluxe room with a jacuzzi and a much better view. I'd be very careful in the room type you book. i had to ask to have my VIP Access discount removed from my bill and the math was incorrect. Even after I pointed this out and it was adjusted, I was still overcharged by quite a bit - I just didn't care enough to keep arguing about it. The best thing about the hotel is the staff - they are wonderful and really care about their jobs and the guests - they made the stay for us.

Very nice and excellent location - to repeat!
The amenities are very good, the breakfast excellent. The rooms are big and well kep. The location is unbeatable. But what makes Ostraco the best is the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, particularly those are the bar/restaurant/pool. The only weak point is the excessive prices of the minibar items and some of the bar expenses. This is my 5th time at Ostraco and I will come back.

The location is up a hill above the old town. It is a hike up, however its a beautiful property and very friendly staff. We ended up with hot tub on our balcony and got some beers from the local gas station, and watched the sunset from the hot tub. The property had a small parking lot. Even though we had to hike up the hill from dinner, it was safe.
