convenient location , close to metro and bus
The location was very nice. We booked a standard apartment/room for three people, When we got the keys, the extra bed ( sofa bed ) was not ready . We were extremely tired coming from a long overnight flight , so I went to the corridor to find the service lady, but didn’t see anyone, and I saw that the cleaning room was open , took two sheets and a pillow case and made the bed for my daughter who wanted to take a nap immediately. The so called mattress on the sofa bed was so thin , my daughter couldn’t sleep and the next morning we asked the service lady if she could get another mattress, She brought two extra blankets and tried her best to make the bed comfortable. I don’t understand how the hotel can make the guest pay for a sofa bed that is in such poor condition. The mattress is non existent. My daughter was with back pain for three days. The fourth and fifth night we paid more and were happy with the accommodation, even though when we got the keys to the room , sofa bed was not made to a bed and the concierge had to come and make the bed for us. We were told by the reception that the hotel has some standard rooms like that. I pay the money for a standard room, but I consider a good sleep even in a standard room. I am very disappointed with what I got for the money I paid for the first three nights.

Nice quiet and safe area and close to Metro
We booked this hotel as it was within walking distance of the Tennis stadium (about 15 min's walk) where we were visiting to watch an ATP tour Event (the Barcelona Open, and yes, Nedal won it yet again!). The Les Corts Metro station is 2 min's walk from the hotel. We got the Metro to/from the Airport which worked out well and much cheaper than a taxi. The hotel itself is good (without being great), but then you get what you pay for and we were looking for a mid-priced hotel. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which were both good (our room rate included breakfast and we had the fixed price 3 course dinner which was excellent value). Our room was clean, comfortable and functional with the only weakness being the bathroom which had a pretty average shower and was in need of an update/refurb, otherwise all perfectly fine. Some nice touches in having bottled water each day in the fridge and even better a decent coffee making machine with capsules provided. All staff we dealt with were helpful and friendly and most spoke good to very good English, which is handy given we speak no Spanish whatsoever.

Ok hotel but noisy
The room was ok but not very cosy. The good thing about it was that you could divide the bedroom and living room area so that the person sleeping in the sofa bed could get some privacy. The kitchen was ok, you could prepare your own breakfast there. We had asked to have the sofa bed made into a bed upon our arrival but when we arrived they hadn't arranged that and there wasn't even sheets or blankets so we could do it ourselves. We asked the receptionist to help us out but when we came back to the room they had only put a sheet and thrown an old quilt on the bed. We had to ask them to do it properly with the same linen as in the bed, and that was arranged quickly so that was good. The bad points about the room was that you could hear everything that was going on in the street outside at nights. The first night someone was having a party nearby. We were also unlucky to have a very noisy family upstairs and we could hear their children screaming and running around for hours until they settled. It sounded like they were in the same room. In other words - if you're a light sleeper or an insomniac it's better to stay somewhere else. Apart from that the room was ok to stay in for a couple of nights. The area wasn't crowded and it was nice to come back to there after a day in the crowded centre. There were also some good restaurants nearby and grocery shops. Close to the metro and a big shopping centre just across the street. Good area, ok hotel even if it was quite noisy.

Perfect except for the pea under the mattress
I love this hotel: its location, the staff, the room configuration, the proximity to transportation, the neighborhood. Everything was PERFECT, except the bed. And that may be because I’m getting to be a picky old person or i was just very tired. Or maybe I’m a princess. That being said, i would stay here again in a heartbeat. I picked it out because it was next door to the Harley Davidson dealership, i knew my husband could entertain himself while I went El Corte Inglés, which was literally steps away. He ended up eating there twice while I went to more adventurous places. I also loved the great breakfast buffet. Fantastic choices. And great price. And I can’t say enough about how helpful the staff were, both at the desk and in the restaurant. Housekeeping was very flexible, as well, as we were decompressing after a couple of intense travel weeks. We slept a lot. My family was staying over at the nearby Hilton, an easy walk, I think we paid for three nights what they would have paid for one, if they weren’t using points. Next time around I think they’ll be staying at the Atenea Aparthotel.

i had a room on 7th floor (top). cant see the view from the high window. the room is big, litlle kitchen with all we needed. nice shower, no bath. we asked for two seperate bads for me and my kid, but got two bads attached. the bad mattress was very old and had a dent in the middle that makes your back sore in the morning. the t.v. was very small and far from the bads, also had only 3 "foreign" (not spanish) channels. the big plus was the location. 15 min easy walk from camp nou! which turned to be very useful as the public transport services where jammed due to the game. for getting around nearby station only 3 min walk.
