Poor experience
We arrived early evening it was dark and raining. The reception area was cold, and the receptionist did not take a credit card number at check-in so there was no credit on my room and I had to pay by card in the bar. The burger buns were stale (x2 meals) but we did have the cost of the deserts waived. The room was cold when we arrived and had to turn the radiator on full, whilst we had dinner. The emergency exit next to or room (159) was broken and was not shut and very drafty. At 4.30am we had a fire alarm and left the building but there were no signs indicating where to assemble, i.e. outside reception. There was also a golf buggy full of dirty laundry parked in front of the broken fire exit door all night which caused an obstruction. We asked to raise a formal complaint when we checked out and we were assured we would be contacted. I provided my contact details again to the receptionist but as yet no one has been in contact. Date of stay overnight 18th-19th December. The towels provided in the pool were to small but the pool facility was very good.
