Hotel Sailer
Clean and tidy with a couple of shortfalls
Overall very good but there were a couple of things which made it not feel like a four start hotel. The first was the size of the safe which was not big enough to hold an iPad. The second was that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We have stayed at other four or five star hotel without a kettle in the room but the hotel has then provided complementary coffee in reception. Very disappointed. However, the hotel was in a great location to visit all areas of the city and mountains, the breakfast was good if not extensive and the room a reasonable size and very clean.

The location is great and really handy as we arrived by train. Nice lobby and bar area; room was fine and clean though a little dated. Good breakfast included in price.

Good hotel, well located - very recommended
Use this hotel regularly during ski season. Free ski bus stops outside, its very close to the train / bus station so easy and regular access to airport. Staff very helpful and breakfasts good. Easy and quick access into town and all the sights. The standdard room whilst fine are beginning to tire a little but refurbed business rooms are great. Only downsides I have is that in standard room theres no safe [or Ive never found one] and certain rooms have patchy wifi albeit free. That is easily solved by moving to communal TV room or reception. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to single, couple or family travellers.

Some parts great some parts not so great
Innsbruck is absolutely wonderful and the stay at Sailer was alright. The hotel room was extremely modern. It was a great first impression. All the the people at the front desk were very helpful other than one. She had an attitude and didn't know a lot about the surroundings. The location was very close to the old city (only about a 7 min. Walk) which was great to find things to do and placing to eat. I left the room for the day around 10 and when I came back at 5 the room was supposedly cleaned but the only thing done was the beds. The towels weren't changed, the floor wasn't vacuumed and the glasses weren't changed. This was the case for my entire stay (3 nights). In my opinion it's not up to the 4 star rating they hold. It was also extremely loud when the windows were open from the bar across the street. It was hot which is why we kept it open but once closed you couldn't hear a thing. The hotel had great sound proofing. Also we found the beds weren't very comfortable, you could feel the springs in the bed but it wasn't terrible, we could sleep. Overall it was a good experience but I don't think we'd go back.
