The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. There are great restaurants in the town. The only downside was our room wasn’t cleaned for 3 days, even after complaining. There was NOT a “do not disturb” sign on the door!

The Manoir Richelieu is not the excellent hotel-resort it used to be. Lack of staff was reflected in many facets such as upkeep, restaurant menus, service and price. Very expensive for the quality and choice of restaurant food. Room was as expected and comfortable.

This property is stunning!! The pictures don't capture the beaty of the are at all. The hotel is beautifully maintained and very clean. The room was large and comfotable, the pool are is world class, and it has an incredible steps away. The golf course was way better than expected. Great condtion and fun to play with stunning views. The only two issues were that the Point Cardinal (golf shop/restaurant) has a terrrible smell (sewer) so not appetizing to stay for a meal, and the starter (can remember his name) seemed very disorganized, uninterested and unfriendly. I will definetely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to all!

2/10 Poor

We booked the golf and hotel to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, so we were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the hotel was overbooked, and we were given the lowest room category available. Instead of the King bed we had booked, we were given two single beds. The hotel suggested pushing the beds together, but that wasn’t possible because of a non-movable bedside table between them. For a room costing around $600, this was extremely disappointing. We were also concerned about the cleanliness and condition of the room. The carpet was visibly dirty, and there were stains on our pillows — not what we expected from a hotel at this price point. We were told there were two weddings taking place that night, and unfortunately, it felt as though regular hotel guests were being treated differently because of these events. Whether intentional or not, that was certainly how the experience came across. The golf course itself is very nice, but based on our experience, I would strongly recommend considering other accommodations in the area. Auberge Les Sources or Le Petit Manoir would be options I would consider before staying at the Fairmont again. Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially for our 10th anniversary.
