The worse thing about booking a vacational hotel is not pleasing your family. They trust me to research and make the best choices. Well, I assumed I did just that until we arrived at Samsora Resort. Getting out of the car and walking to the desk is like walking into a Hotel 8. The ladies at the reception desk greeted friendly and invited us to have a late lunch until our room was ready. We walked thru the wild forest that is not kept to part and then to observe the back area only to find NO OTHER GUEST! We have never seen a hotel that has no guests; very strange. We walked upstairs to the late lunch, looked over the ALL INCLUSIVE MEAL. We did find out at this point that ALL INCLUSIVE here means you pick one choice! My son wanted a pizza and chicken but he only could choose one item; so now we realize we have to be smart with our meals. Now the room is ready. I shouldn't expect more because this hotel is old and run down. No central air nor heat but huge air conditioner hanging from the front door. You receive one placement key for the door (not a KEY CARD) and the door chain! Next day we called constantly asking for hand wash cloths to later find out the hotel was out of hand wash clothes! Now we are getting food and still no people lol... What's going on. We went to The legends, which is the sister hotel; nothing different! I understand usually your hotel is just somewhere to sleep while you have fun but this hotel didn't offer anything that it promised in the description.

This is a basic hotel with very limited service and yet expensive. Lacks basic service such as staff to help with luggage where there are no elevators, no coffee maker in the room, no fridge in the room, poor amenities with usage of cheap plastic glasses, guests are forced to tip even if you are not happy with the service. NOT recommended. Don’t fall for the pictures.

I was robbed while staying at this resort. Two men came into my room with their own key. They went into my safe and took everything. They also took all my medications. I called the american embassy and they helped me get out of this location. To somewhere more safe. There is no reason this resort should be advertised on expedia.
