Premium price tag but basic service
Booked a romantic few days to end our trip to WA. Splashed out and treated ourselves to the Pullman and paid a bit extra of a premium experience. Alas it was basic and disappointing.
1. Accommodation - we had a studio apartment which had dated furnishings, kitchenette with crockery that had seen better days. And a fridge that didn’t fit in the allocated cupboard. Shower was temperamental with the hot and cold mix.
2. Dining - breakfast service staff are friendly if a little too enthusiastic - they pounce on you when you put an empty cup down or have an empty plate - makes you feel rushed and that they are eager for you to leave.
Dinner was a massive disappointment. Pasta was bland. Fish was over cooked and service was lacklustre. Noted a few others had issues with food that evening. The host hovered over the tables too, which was off putting.
3. Pool - nice view but pool bar was closed then the pool was packed with people and the table service only offered food.
4. Spa - rang the spa on both full days we were there, a few times to book in a massage for us. No answer. Not impressed.
All in all - it was a disappointment and not what I would have expected for a Pullman or the price tag. I’d save your money and go elsewhere to be frank.
