I had to fly up a day earlier because I had a training class on Monday. I always try to book at Marriott properties. My stay was good, however, having to order take-out was challenging because the hotel restaurant was closed, due to COVID-19 and it was Easter Sunday when I checked in. I can’t help to laugh at myself because my 1st instinct was to order at our Employees cafeteria, at the airport, but I was so tired after having to get up early to catch the first flight out. Other than that, all was great. I was told from the staff that the restaurant will be opening back up soon.

Thankfully I was being accommodated even I arrived early for check in after a red eye flight & wasn’t able to sleep on the plane. Speed of check in was awesome. Friendly staff members. Will come back next time visit in the area.

I've stayed at the hotel on 3 different occasions and I love it. I always try to stay there when I need a hotel in Newark. There are somethings that I think can be improved... There is only one microwave in the lobby that's really inconvenient. They should have one in the rooms or at least on every floor Close to the rooms. The parking fee is $20/ night i think that's too much . think the should reduce it or elimated the fee all together... Other than that this is my favorite hotel!

The hotel is in good condition. The floor I was staying at welcomed you with a heavy smell of marijuana. As you enter the room, you can tell it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There was hair in the shower and on the toilet seat. Please bring your own cleaning supplies.

The room was fine for the most part with some disappointing experiences such; bathroom not working properly and had to wait all day for it to be fixed; I asked the cleaning staff to clean the room but she couldn't understand me but everything else was fine.
