Gross and Dirty Room
I have never stayed in a Baymont hotel before, and after my experience at this location, I never will do so again. I stood at the check-in desk for over 10 minutes behind only one other person before I was able to be helped. The process was incredibly slow. My room had barely been cleaned and was disgusting. There was a half eaten sunflower seed on the floor, presumably a snack from a previous guest. Dust covered the fridge, microwave, and desk. There was debris on the carpet. There was the plastic spring loaded part of a toilet paper holder behind the toilet itself, meaning nobody cleaned the floor thoroughly and discovered this. The bottom of the tub was stained and grimy. The check-in desk was not manned when I headed downstairs so I could inform them of the state of the room. I hoped that at least the housekeeper would be able to take care of most of theses issues before my second night. However, despite the fact I left the hotel early in the morning and made sure I did not have a "do not disturb sign" on the door, nobody bothered to check the room or do any cleaning. In fact, I never saw a single housekeeper the entire duration of my stay. After two nights, I went down to the check-in desk to drop off my keys, but yet again nobody was there. Good riddance. Please fix your cleanliness and staffing issues, if not for my sake, at least for the future "guests" of this rundown establishment. This is an insult to paying customers.

Severe Housekeeping Problems
Short weekend in the GR area, flying in late on Thursday, leaving early on Sunday, so we stayed at this hotel Thursday and Saturday nights only. Two rooms each night. One couple had no issues with preparedness or cleanliness in their rooms, but we had problems both nights. 1st night: our flight was late, so we checked in after midnight. Shamari (sp?) was helpful & cheerful checking us in. We opened the room & found bed made, but pillows had no cases & were lumped in a pile on bed. We immediately let her know & she apologized profusely for housekeeping's lapse & put cases on the pillows. Then we discovered no bath towels. Again, she apologized & gave us bath towels & finished setting up the bathroom. Later I noticed some reddish-brown spots splattered across the mirror. I took a wet washcloth & tried to clean them. They dissolved easily in water, so I assume that it was blood. Below the sink area seemed clean, so like the pillows and towels, cleaning the mirror was something that was forgotten by housekeeping staff & completely missed by the supervisor. We complained the following day, but since we had paid in advance, we have to pursue refund from Travelocity. Sat. night checked in & there was a completely made bed & full complement of towels & the mirror was clean. I picked up the soap and discovered whiskers on the left side of the sink. Just the one area around the soap platter. Also ordered airport shuttle thru Bri, but next a.m. no shuttle. Shamari reimbursed for Uber

This review come a while after my stay but I feel it is important to follow up even through my schedule didn't permit at the time. This stay was awful. The wost hotel stay I have ever had. The hotel had no water after midnight due to repairs which I was informed of at check in....but the biggest concern was the horrible staff. My room was off the lobby and the hotel staff was so loud I was woke up 4 times by screaming, laughing, and loud music. Room phone was unable to call the front desk. Went out to the lobby in my pajamas to ask them to keep it down and instead of an apology they started arguing with each other about who was the problem. They quieted down a bit after being confrunted but still woke me up 2 more times.The rooms cleanliness left something to be desired but wasn't horrible. The next day left my business meeting and skipped lunch to talk with the hotel manager who was only in during regular business hours. He told me he would talk to them and would take some money off my stay. The 2nd night was better but not by much...in the end NO REFUND was provided!! I had waited to see if the refund would come through but in my busy schedule forgot to review until I was posting for another location. I hope the staff issue has been resolved but I will never stay at this hotel again. I am not an overly picky person but this level of disrespect was over the top.

Beware Baymont/Wyndham
I booked a room and paid 100% in advance prior to an early morning flight. Upon arrival, I was told - "Sorry we overbooked by 30 rooms, but it is Wyndham's fault - not ours. They said to just tell people "sorry"." All hotels in the city were booked, and the Baymont offered me no assistance. They told me they had no empty rooms to give me - although the man in front of me was given keys to a room. I got on the phone for over 30 minutes until I found a room for my daughter and I at a local motel. We were in a panic and feared we might need to sleep in our car during a snowstorm! Since I had paid in full, I got on the phone with hotels.com (where I had made the reservations) and they were helpful when I explained the situation. They told me "Please hold while we verify the room situation with the Baymont so we can issue a refund." When hotels.com came back on the phone, they said the Baymont told them THEY HAD MY RESERVATION! I had to convince hotels.com that the Baymont was lying as I had just spent 10 minutes in their front lobby where I was turned away without options. I literally could not believe it. Upon contacting both the Baymont and Wyndham, the only offer I got was an empty promise for a 50% discount at this Baymont during a future stay. I told them I would never need to stay at this location again. Wyndham told me - there is nothing we can do because this property is individually managed. The property manager said - sorry I can only control my own hotel.

Filthy Hotel!
This hotel was the first hotel I’ve ever checked into, then promptly checked back out of and demanded a refund. I was not expecting a luxury hotel, just clean and comfortable. I don’t know if the beds are comfortable, because I never got in it. My initial impression of the hotel during check-in was it looked a bit rundown. Ok. Fine. I’m just spending the night. When I got to our room, I noticed how really dirty it was. Dirty towel hanging on the back of door, garbage in the drawer, holes in the wall, dirt in every corner, dirty, broken toilet, you get the idea. It was late and we were tired so we tried moving rooms. Second room was equally dirty and super strong smell of urine! We paid $157 for one night in this hotel and didn’t expect this level of filthiness and disrepair. On the positive, the lady at the front desk was very nice and understanding and admitted to having “issues with housekeeping”. Prior to this stay, I had never stayed in a Baymont Inn or a Wyndham resort, I believed these to be reliable brands, but now I would never book either of these again.
