4 Day Trip to Venice
Hotel was in good location for St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. Breakfast was good and went on until 11 am which was good as we had a couple of late nights. Room didn’t have a tea or coffee maker but on request we were supplied with a kettle and cups which was good. Overall staff very friendly and nicely modernised location. The room did not have a view but overall very nice.

Worst shower I have seen in a hotel. Pipe was bent and shower sprayed on the wall with no way to adjust. No shower curtain so it also sprayed all over the floor. Antique hairdryer that barely worked. Amazing view of the trash dump area. Good news was the room was only $400. 😳

My rating is 10/10 ..simply fabulous
Fabulous!! Fabulous!! We have travelled around the world and stayed at various high end hotels and resorts, but this stay at Palace Bonvecchiati was outstanding. The property is perfectly located off the Rialto bridge, after a long travel, we checked in at 11.30pm. It was a very smooth and swift process. Mr. Khan who manned the reception desk was very welcoming, offered a bottle of water and told us to call if we needed anything. We booked 2 rooms, they were clean, smelt good, good size for Venice and bathroom had all the accessories we needed. Our booking included complementary breakfast and there was a wide variety of continental dishes, fresh coffee and everything tasted delicious. We roamed around Venice, did a gandola ride, walked a lot, had lunch at an italian restaurant (DUH!) and returned to the cozy comfort of our Palace in the evening. After resting a bit and freshening up we again went out for dinner and returned late. Our receptionist made arrangements for a ride to the airport next morning via private taxi and packed breakfast for all 4 of us. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends who want to visit Venice. It is a 10/10 hotel.
