This was the third time we have stayed in this lovely hotel. It is close to the beach and the town, the Staff are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean, the room was a good size but the bed was not as comfy as it has been on previous stays. Will definitely visit this hotel again and i would recommended this hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Bournemouth

Great locale but bit disappointing hotel.
Struggle to understand accent of check-in, inland room view bit rubbish, alright seaview would be great. decor was tired and repairs clearly done by novice handyman/on the cheap.. TV was small and remote was sporadic in working.. car park is hideously small and expensive with some spaces almost impossible when busy. But the location was brilliant though!

We stayed over the Easter weekend but found after checking in that there was no hot water in the room. Since it was late, we waited until the following morning to report this to reception. The hot water was not restored until late on Saturday evening. From talking to others ours was not an isolated incident and we also heard others reporting this to reception when checking out. For a room that is being charged at £250 a night, I would not expect to be without water for more than a couple of hours. More than 24 hours is just not acceptable. In fairness to the hotel, they waived our parking charges when we checked out, but only after making a complaint.

we have stayed several times at this hotel in the past The hotel is now owned by the OCEANA group for the last three years and unfortunately the standards have dropped in all respects the costs for a pint of Perone is £6.45p and the room we stayed in a double with a sea view is in need of an update You can not sit on the toilet properly as there is a towel radiator in the way Floor boards creaking when you walk across room top floor must of been noisy for the room below not enough sockets in room very small double bed woken up at 6.30am by dust cart tipping glass bottles and taking them away Breakfast very average indeed bacon rock hard been left in bay Marie for to long eggs hard and swimming in fat toaster was burning every one’s bread Several guests having same comments as myself saying it was not as good as when family owned had return and we disappointed When purchasing food or drinks as soon as they brought it to you before you had eaten or drank wanting payment d straight away I am sorry to be so negative but this is how it was (this is my own personal experience and opinion) We stayed one night I think the location is the best you could ask for and on site parking is available Staff could be a little more friendly and greet you at breakfast apart from asking for room no and let you know where tea hot water coffee and show you what’s on offer as some guests were confused on the regime of a full self service breakfast
