We stayed at the Wyndham Grand the week before we took a 4-day bus tour of Greece and that was good. However, when we returned, we were given rooms at the back of the hotel and across from the gym. This was a totally different experience. It was noisy from the traffic in the back alleyway-like road, to people in the gym after 10 pm dropping weights on the floor. I thought at first it was the restaurant above moving beer kegs or something, but the next morning I heard it again at 6:30 and figured out it was someone in the gym.

This is a large hotel that services conferences, cruise shipsand couples like us. It is well run and and the rooms are spacious enough. There are a few very good dining options very near by too. While the area might be scruffy to some we walked around it and found it interesting. Also there is a metro stop very nearby that is convenient to use that takes you to museums and the Center in about 10-15 minutes.
