Friendly and clean
Shannon at the front desk was the one of the most friendly person we met on the whole trip. She was helpful, remembered us each day and said hello and seemed genuinely happy with her job. One of the morning desk Ladies wasn’t so friendly :-( The halls were being remodeled, but once you got into the room it was clean and comfortable.

Pay the extra 10-20 for another hotel room.
The lobby seems to have been recently renovated so you're inclined to think the rest of the hotel will be. It's not. I called ahead to ensure my friend who was stopping by with a dog would be no problem. They said it was fine. I was put on the 3rd floor, but then learned dogs can't be on the 3rd so I was moved. Found a bug in my bed. (Ick!) An unsolicited maintenance guy came in the room while I was in the shower. Not the biggest deal, but annoying. And the pool wasn't available. The staff was okay and breakfast was good, but I definitely wouldn't recommend.

Great service, not a great hotel
We arrived very late and the guy checking us in was wonderful and got us into our room quickly. The room was very dated and had a weird smell. Would not stay here again.

Avoid if possible.
After I pre-paid for our stay on, the hotel still charged me directly. Breakfast was terrible. No flavor in the eggs or sausage. Coffee maker in breakfast area was broken both days. Bathrooms need a lot of updating. Tub would not drain. Only gave you two large towels. Lot of noise in the room from the hallway and other rooms. No overhead lights in the room so the room was very dark and there is no light by the door to your room and closet.
