Hotel was nice, saunas n pools lovely. Not a whole lot to do or get to in walking distance so make sure you have a car. Seemed more like a stop over spot for guest on planned golden circle trips or conventions Beds so need to be replaced.

Loved the hotel spa that was the highlight of this stay (remember they are closed Sundays and require an appointment booking for a 1 hour time slot). The rooms had double beds and slept 4 comfortably, the washrooms were clean but a bit dated, I recommend showering downstairs in the hotel spa change rooms - very modern and clean! Parking was across the street and had multiple spots, loved the breakfast option since there isn’t a ton around! Would stay again!

Internet was fast, hotel room was chilly, there was no instruction on turning on the lights so I had to ask the front desk who told me I needed to put my hotel room card into the slot for them to work, there were no instructions for the towel warmer, the room service lacked entirely and only had wings when it should have had a full menu like the restaurant downstairs, change the menu for the Hekla restaurant for lunch and dinner so it’s not always the same food, and most importantly, fully cook the bacon because almost every day is was undercooked and most people didn’t eat it

We stayed in the Panoramic Double Room for some evenings. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedroom had a lovely view of the sea and the mountain. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the spa was very relaxing. Breakfast was ok, nothing special — scarce options for vegans. We felt that the ad was very misleading, though. The pictures clearly showed that the room had a bathtub with a view of the city, which caught our attention. When we arrived, we were informed that only one of the rooms had a bathtub and that we should have asked for it during the booking process if we wanted that one specifically. This was quite frustrating for the price that was paid. It could have been more clearly indicated in the pictures, or a different class of room should have been made available in the system.
