St Paddys day
I've been staying in Newport at the Wyndham Resorts for the last five years on st. Patrick's Day I think I've stayed at every one. Rooms are always amazing and super clean great views close to everything. Only problem I had with this one was parking if you have a larger vehicle parking is a nightmare here. They have a very limited number of spots so once you get one you better not leave and if you have to pay to park you will not being reimbursed although I could have sworn I seen somewhere my room came with a parking spot that might be the case but you just better be there early to get it and plan on leaving it parked for the weekend

Perfect for a long weekend in November
The rooms were very nice, the building/lobby area is smaller than expected, parking can be tricky but it is that way all over town. The mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept on but since the bedroom is when you first walk in to the room you can hear the hallway and our room 204, we could hear the elevator dinging and at 3am one night i awoke to another guest complaining about a noise in his room to the front desk. The rooms are well equipped with new clean appliances but the fridge is a little loud and there was an air flow fan which i found the switch for that was also really loud at night. If you are a heavy sleeper no worries. Once i figured some things out I was able to sleep. All and all its in a great location, you can walk to restaurants, mansions, and the staff is very nice. There's also an observation deck which I am sure is nice in warmer months.
