This beach lodge style hotel was just what we wanted on our trip from Santa Cruz to Ojai. Rooms are simply furnished and are clean and comfortable. The location is good with several good restaurants close by. Coffee in the morning was excellent.

Moonstone Beach New Year
We stayed two nights. Excellent location, right across the road from the ocean (and nothing on the other side of the road). The rooms are cute, and as we were visiting in December, we used the heater. These rooms stay warm! Only needed the heat a little.

I loved this hotel so much! The check-in guy was really cool, the free bike rental was awesome and the location was beautiful right across from the ocean. Would totally stay here again!
