Friendly helpful staff in a hotel that has relied on coach parties and is looking a little tired. Good value for money. Excellent location. Apparently has a new management team looking to revitalise it. Best asset is its staff - a lot of locals and really friendly.

Nice classic hotel
Spent a couple of nights here as a base while traveling to the isles. Very convenient location for the train and ferries, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast. There are a few signs of wear as you'd expect with an older building but it was kept nice and clean.
