Location is everything
The perfect location! We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and this was our first visit to the island. We would definitely come back to this hotel. As soon as you get off the Red Hook ferry you walk right into the villa and up to your room. There are multiple places to eat, shop, and rent a boat within just a few steps. They are still constructing the area so I imagine it will be even better in the coming months. We listened to music, danced, drank and didn’t have to worry about more transportation to get back to our room. We hiked the trails to the National Park visitor center and hiked to Honeymoon beach. We did use a boat to get to the further bays and used the open air taxi trucks to come back into Cruz Bay but I loved the walkable options. We didn’t want to rent a jeep and drive on the steep roads so this location was perfect!

Love the beachfront view of Cruz Bay and the service was top notch. Love the convenience of being at walking distance from the ferry dock and our favorite restaurants at Cruz Bay. We’re wedding filmmakers and we’re so happy to be staying again at Wharfside in May for another destination wedding. We highly recommend it!

Location is everything. This hotel is close to the ferry, close to the taxis, close to places to eat and shop, everything is within walking distance, so no need to rent a car while staying. Very clean, and safe, would stay here again.
