Good value in down town Atlanta
This is my second stay in the motel As I said last year the motel is good value for money in downtown Atlanta and the location is great for public transport being in the middle of two MARTA stations However there was a sad experience n my second stay this year $200 was stolen from my luggage bag The room was not broken into which means that someone with access to the room entered in our absence My wife and i reported to the General Manager he told us to call the police The police advised us to check out of the hotel as the camera which could assist to know the culprit was not functional Nonetheless we decided to stay because our previous stay of 28 nights in the hotel in same room (220) last year was very pleasant

Forget this place
I hated it. I want my money back. Knowing that hotels.com has places like this on thier books has stopped me from using hotels.com. I will be going elsewhere to make bookings.

Good extended stay facility downtown
My wife and i spent 24 days in the hotel and we have no negative comments about the facilities It is worth the price given the location in downtown Atlanta Within walking distance of two train stations -civic center and north avenue Publix and Walgreen are also within easy walking distance of the hotel Yes there is an homeless shelter next door but that doesn't make the hood a ghetto or slum as i read in reviews before i booked The people in the shelter seldom approach passersby to solicit alms but when they do just keep going and they let you be Yes you need to identify each time you want to enter the facilities but it is for the safety of every Negative reviewers failed to mention the fact that the hood is very quiet and is surrounded by high class apartment buildings I am physically challenged and don't have a car in Atlanta but my wife and i walked every where and at all times and were never harassed by the shelter people Yes there are people who reside permanently in the hotel We met one who had spent 14years there But the residents are good people Amongst them are Doctors, Technicians etc who find it cost effective and convenient to live in the hotel We will God willing be back

basic and convenient, pity about the homeless.
this is a basic motel. it was clean (but not under the bed) but it was not serviced for 5 night I was there. the staff are friendly. It is only a 10 minute walk from down town and 2 minutes from a marta station. whilst I would recommend it as a low cost conveniently located motel, it is on the same street as a homeless shelter or something similar, as there are 30 homeless (or more) lying about at any given time which could put some people off. I did not have a problem (or even a comment )myself from them at any time of day or night. the area look a little rough but one block either way and the feel completely changes. there is security at the motel. I don't think it was unsafe but some people may have the feeling of being unsafe.
