Melville House
We didn’t get to say in the inn that we were looking forward to staying in for its historical significance. We were put in another (in a consortium?), Though it was clean, and the bed was comfortable, we could barely move around the bed, there was nowhere to sit in the room except on the bed, and there was no sitting room in the inn. If we had been put in The Melville House Inn, we would at least have had a library to sit in when we were not touring. Therefore, we kept ourselves out until it was about time to get ready for bed.

Excellent after a couple room changes
It is a wonderful neighborhood and a very short walk down to Thames. The rooms in Melville House were a little musty for my allergies so the owner was extremely kind and and let me look at a few more rooms. I ultimately chose a room (#4) which had hardwood floors and a king sized bed...he even bought a new air conditioner to make sure there was no mold in it....he went above and beyond! The breakfast was amazing and the people we met there were so interesting and fun!

One night stay.
Our stay was great. Not much to say because we didn't stay long enough but to sleep. I will say the parking area was tight because of the overgrown bushes. Other than that it was great.

Quaint little 1750 B&B
Quaint little 1750 B&B, on very small side street in historic area. Tastefully decorated, clean, and very quiet. Check out the armory museum a few doors down. It was small, but I knew that. They made a point of telling me when I made the reservation.
