Business Travelers Beware!
I was appalled at the dismal service I received upon checkout of the hotel during my second stay in the same week. I expected much more from a Hilton brand. I booked 3 nights for my company each day. The day of checkout on the second night, one of my associates in a separate room called to tell me that the front desk had an issue with the credit card and we needed to resolve it ASAP. I found it odd, as we switched the credit card upon check in to a valid card for the hotel to use. The previous card had issues and we had to use a different one from the bank. Turns out, when I checked all of us in the night before, the hotel didn't put the new credit card on the third room and we no loner had the card with us, as I sent the card with another associate earlier that morning out on the road back to California so that they could buy gas. Instead of looking at the other two rooms and the reservation from three nights before to see that it was an obvious oversight on their part, I was cutoff mid sentence by the front desk clerk and told "that reservation is in the past. We're dealing with the present." Additionally, I was told that even though the card was switched on the other two rooms and not this one, I would have to pay with a different card because they could not combine the reservations, nor could they manually enter the card that I had presented the night before. The general manager wouldn't even talk to me. I was forced to use a personal credit card to check out.

could be a good hotel but.....
First this is a fairly new hotel, so it should be nice and it is on the inside. But that is where everything stops. This is a green hotel, which means they try to conserve energy by not cleaning the rooms. There is a sticker on the bathroom mirror that states only once every five days will they really clean the room, the rest of the time is light touch ups. As you can image with so little cleaning the floor is disgusting. If you walk across the floor with wet feet and then stand in the shower your feet will be black on the bottom and you will leave black foot prints everywhere there is not carpet. We had to ask the front desk almost every day for that touch up service. The first night we stayed I was getting bitten by some sort of insect. Once I complained they did come in and change all of the bedding in the room, but I should not have had that experience. The other bad thing about this hotel is that there is not enough parking. I was asked on more than one night to park in a fire or tow away zone. Every night, at least 7 cars were parked that way. I don't feel comfortable being asked to park illegally while staying in a paid for hotel. I will not be staying at this hotel again. Too many negatives.

My neighborhood my whole life
I grew up half a mile from here! So i basically know all the business past and present that are around here! I live downtown, I just did not want to spend the whole week in my duplex and the family home is close! The front desk was very welcoming when I arrived and I appreciate that! This hotel is very modern since it just opened about a year ago. I came in late so I just checked in and went to bed. The walls are kind of thin, but I was watching tv so I did not hear much. Wifi worked great..maybe too good since I got a virus on my Dell laptop When I got up, went to the breakfast that was included. If you are single, not really a place to sit down. I had to share a table with a family and then some Chinese tourists. I could not eat the eggs because they were prepackaged and both selections had cheese. I am lactose intolerant! However, I did have some watered down oatmeal with toast and hard boiled eggs. I was still hungry! After I came to my room, housekeeping wanted to clean my room at 0830 in the morning!..They should wait until the guests check out! THis is annoying. Front desk is really awesome. They went out of their way to get me a copy of the USA Today! For those of you that are arriving by plane, this hotel is close to the airport and there are alot of places to eat, Bassett Center is close by as well as a couple of bars.

Very good 8.0
This brand new hotel is very nice. However, the room that I was assigned had damage to the ceiling in the bathroom from what appeared to be a leak from the floor(s) above. It did not cause any particular issues, but was noticed. The room also appeared to be handicapped accessible, which was not requested, and was large and spacious. The bathroom sink was not surrounded by a counter which made the usual tasks somewhat more difficult because there was no place to put toiletry items and there was not a towel bar near the sink. I used the kitchenette sink for brushing my teeth so that I would have a flat surface to put items. It was a little awkward. There seems to be a need for more towel bars and a place in the bathroom to put towels. The towels were on the opposite side of the room from the bathroom. Very nice hotel with workout facilities and the staff was very attentive.

Exceptional 10.0
We went to visit our family at El Paso and we stayed for a week, we loved this place, it’s in a good area of the city, the building is so secure, you even need tour key for use the elevator and they have the first breakfast that we actually like, the quality of the products is way better than other hotels and they closed it at 10 am so we didn’t have to rush our mornings. The room was comfortable, really spacious, the only thing that wasn’t that great is the shower, the attachments were a little confusing and it was hard to figure out the right temperature for the water, also if you’re used to get conditioner and lotion with the service, forget it. They only offer one little bar of hand soap and some wipes for makeup. We think that lotion could be a good option since the weather is so dry there. Especially if it’s for people who’s not used to. We never had a problem with the parking which is amazing.
