Fabulous stay- v nice front desk and manager
I spend 3-4 nights in South beach. I chose hotel victor because of the location and the review. I checked in early and the front desk where very nice. I found the manager Mr. Ali he was over nice and very helpful. They gave me an ice room in the swimming pool floor and I asked them for a higher floor room since I don’t use the pool. They upgraded me to the 5th floor with a fabulous room with a partial ocean view. The room exceeded my expectation. It was clean with a classy modern furniture. The bathroom is awesome and very huge for a hotel in south Miami. The front desk and Mr. ali were very helpful when I asked about the shipping, they arranged a shuttle transportation to the outlet and they gave me advises and shipping tips. All the staff were very nice; front desk the manager and door bell man. The only thing I don’t like the housekeeping; they don’t speak English well so I had hard time to talk with them and wejdan I asked her to clean my room while I am sitting in the balcony she refused stating that she can’t do it while I am inside. She wasn’t very nice in explaining to me; she just said that and she left. I don’t know if it is the language or the rules!! I stayed in a lot of hotels before and some time I asked for housekeeping while I am inside the room or for the bathroom only and they never told me that it is not allowed !!

Hotel ok but remember: it is a partyzone
The hotel offers on the webpage only the best pictures of the building, rooms and vicinity. That's why I only talk about the things, that aren't that nice. First thing our 10-month old baby found in the suite under the sofa, was the cockring of one of the previous guests. Electric plug was ripped out of the wall in the corridor from elevator to our suite. Because of jetlag, our baby woke up at 4:00 am and couldn't sleep anymore. Due to the fact one could hear almost everything through the locked door, that connected our suite to the adjacent room, the neighbours woke up and started to have their morning-horizontal-procedure that kept the whole corridor awake. It happened two times, that nicely dressed young women asked us in the lobby to give a hand with our roomkey in the elevator to help them getting to the level, where she and "her roommate" stayed at. In addition to that, we heard a nice looking woman in the lobby talking on the phone to somebody speaking of "very unpleased customer in the hotel", because her employee was not able to reach the floor of "her customer" due to missing card for the elevator. OK, it is a district of amusement... During the night it is extremly loud on the street and all those rented ferraris, lambos and bugattis get very annoying when driven at 2mph with 8500rpm. The apple computers in the lobby work, but no printer was working, neither the one at the reception. ATM in lobby always empty.

Satisfied with the hotel, but there is better
This hotel was pretty good and my wife and I were satisfied here. This was the best hotel I could find that had a balcony and a jacuzzi/deep soaking tub, which my wife and I both wanted on this trip. Even though we had fun here and I recommend it, I really doubt I'd stay here again just because there's so many other hotels and things to experience in Miami Beach. Things to note: -There was some hair in the tub and on the toilet upon check in, but I told them immediately and they cleaned it all up very well. -The Swimming pool is very nice, but there's some hotel pools in the area that looked much nicer -Their pool bar closes at 5pm which is ridiculous -The restaurant in the hotel is Sugar Factory and very sub par. I just wanted a nice casual restaurant with a bar and that's it. It doesn't have to be fancy which they were trying too hard to do. -The discount they offer at the Sugar Factory for hotel guests is only valid until 11am which I think is a slap in the face. I'm already paying them all this money to stay in the hotel and the discount for the restaurant is only good til 11am. It really should be all day. -Food was expensive at the hotel as it is for every restaurant for hotel on Ocean Dr. I will be back to Miami but I won't stay on Ocean Dr again. That was a one time only thing. It's fun, but it's not for everybody. The hotel could get loud at night as parties go on right downstairs. The walls blocked out sound but the windows didn't.

Nice hotel
Very nice hotel. Parking is pricey but there is a garage a block down for $20 a night. Staff made me feel very uncomfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and on 3 different occasions random staff members came to our room. The first incident my husband and I were sleep and someone knocked on the door 1 time and then entered the room. We jumped out the bed and the lady ran out. The 2nd incident my husband left the room and I was in there alone and again, 1 knock on the door and then someone entered. Again once the saw me the quickly ran out. My back was turnt but she had a Hispanic accent. The 3rd incident someone knocked on the door and claimed they were house keeping but house keeping had already came for that day so we ignored the knock. The west indie lady came in but didn't have a cleaning cart or any cleaning supplies. She asked "how's everything?" And then left the room. Their actions were very suspicious and made me feel very uncomfortable. At this point I was very paranoid and didn't know who to report it too there were nothing but women working at the front desk. It could have easily been one of those women that kept stopping by the room.

Ok Hotel ( bad wi-fi) with great staff
Stayed here for a week. All in all it’s a pretty nice hotel. The rooms are nice and the view was nice. The staff is service minded and very friendly. There are some issues with the hotel, which made me feel like I wouldn’t stay there again. 1) The WIFI. I have never had such a bad WIFI experience. It took me the entire week to finish one episode of a series on Netflix. The internet is really bad. As a European without any data it’s crippling not to have high speed WiFi. 2) Its loud from the street. Even from our room (fight floor) we could hear the music everyday. 3) Hidden fees. Be aware you will pay more than you think. Everyday they charge you an 18 dollar (plus taxes) for the services the hotel is providing (pool WiFi (which is bad)etc). On top of this there are three different taxes that have to be paid. 4) The breakfast is bad. It’s served in a partner restaurant in the same building. You get one pick for the menu with something to drink. Everything else costs extra. Boring restaurant and boring menu. In the states the breakfasts are usually really good. But not here. 5. The drainage in the shower was clogged. On the positive side you get beach kits with towels chairs and water everyday. That was really great.
