    Good 6.0
    The mattress was awful
We stayed for one night on an overnight trip to Branson for the Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival. This is our first time staying at the Gazebo, but we do come to Branson anywhere from 6-10 times a year. Our first impression of the Gazebo was that the front desk was not very friendly. Not openly chatty and did not offer help with local attractions. No big deal, everyone has a bad day. We get to the room and opened the door and had mixed reactions. The room was orderly and more updated than some, but the pet smell was awful. It is clear that this is a pet friendly establishment. I have allergies, so that made our stay a bit uncomfortable with itchy eyes and excessive sneezing. Otherwise, with the exception of a few pet stains on the floor and scratches on the door the room was very neat and orderly. The water pressure is great and the hot water is actually hot. No luck warm issue. Our biggest problem was the bed. This has to be the worst bed I have ever slept on. It was lumpy and way too soft. No firmness to this bed at all. It was almost 4 in the morning before I fell asleep out of exhaustion. The cleaning crew was absolutely professional and very courteous. That was impressive. The breakfast was subpar, but most are during a weekday. Not a big deal. Overall, the bed will keep us from ever going back. I got 3 hrs and 29 minutes of sleep that night and my back hurt so bad that the rest of our trip was ruined for me. We won't be back.
