Highs and lows.
Positive.Very comfy beds. Tasty hash browns. Lows -broken glass on bedroom carpet. Not properly hoovered. Poor cleaning- tea tray not replenished, dirty glass left in room. No one told us about the reduced parking voucher so only found out the second day when we had paid already but overheard another guest being told. Bathroom ok.

Room was average for a Leonardo chain. Breakfast was just rubbish - save your money and go somewhere local for half the price.

Don't recomend a weekend stay if you want to sleep
Lovely hotel in the center of Chester, second time staying, all I can say is if you are not a party goer don't stay at the weekend. We stayed mid week first time and it was so quiet not a peep all night. Stayd bankholiday Sunday coronation weekend and we were woken up at 4am with inconsiderate lads screaming and shouting down the coridor arrived room next door to us and started banging on the door shouting "Dean Dean let us in" after 20 mins Dean!!! Opened the door and they then(more than should have been in 1 room) carried on to make so much noise for a further 2 hours!!!! Screaming and banging!!!! Went to reception to complain and apparently thay had been chucking loads of lads out throughout the night because they were noisy and half clothed lads sleeping in the coridors.

Excellent hotel
Lovely hotel situated just behind the main thoroughfare in Chester. There is an entrance into the Grosvenor shopping centre that allows you to walk through to the main shopping area. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, as are the rooms and bar area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again
