Courtyard at Lake Lucerne
Fabulous return visit!
We spent two separate nights here on a return visit and again were enchanted by this place! Lovely individual rooms in a beautiful little enclave close to downtown Orlando. Beautiful characterful buildings with a real sense of history. Breakfast was really good; reception very friendly. Had free tea and coffee making facilities on the second night; this would have been appreciated in the main house also! Very much enjoyed our free carafe of wine - but the main point about this place is that it is truly unique in this area - a real gem!

Ok place but would stay somewhere else next time.
Overall I would say it was fine, however I believe the word "quaint" should be replaced by "lacks ammenities" . No fridge in the room or wash clothes or electrical sockets available. Bed was ok and the room was cool enough to sleep in. You would think from the description that it's right on the lake. There is an off-ramp from the highway between you and your view of the lake while sitting on their front porch. Other than that, the breakfast was very nice as they have a garden behind the main house where the breakfast is served. Bring mosquito repellant!

Everything was great! The only suggestion I would give is for a better breakfast, the breakfast was nothing amazing.

A glimpse into 1890s city life!
What a charming place! This B&B is located in two historic Victorian mansions tucked in an almost forgotten corner of downtown Orlando. Other grand old houses surround the lake, offering a glimpse into city life in the 1890s. We were treated to wine in the parlor on arrival before moving into our lovely room. The four poster bed and fine furniture made us feel that we had been transported to an earlier time! The yummy buffet breakfast was offered in the second building, just as nicely furnished as the first building. The location is just a short walk to the rest of downtown so we spent the day exploring. Fun! We'd recommend this place and hope to return.

We picked this hotel due to it's proximity to Dr. Philips Center. Very short walk, but a bit of a treacherous walk through construction and crossing streets. The accommodations were as expected for an old bed and breakfast. Very comfortable, and quiet for the most part. Good continental breakfast. Very nice courtyard area, that unfortunately, loses it's charm as soon as you set foot outside the property - directly below a major highway.
