Great hotel fro NEC
All staff were extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. Excellent location for NEC and train station. Took us 10 mins to walk from the hotel to NEC.

Not entirely impressed overall
While the hotel room was passable, it was a little tired about the edges, especially in the bathroom, and there was a lack of sockets for chargers, etc. Wifi was unreliable and inconsistent. In addition, the corridors also were in need of some tlc, as my room was towards the back of the hotel, and some of the lifts were out of order. Breakfast was £12, and yet the quality of the food was no different, if not worse than hotels I have stayed in for a third the price. Overall, would not have paid as much as I did if I had another choice as near.

Very poor sleep
We had a shocking nights 'sleep' as I could feel the springs of the very soft/old mattress in my ribs. when we finally did get off to sleep we were woken 45 mins later by the stench of the drains coming from the bathroom. Definitely not worth the money, the basic needs for a hotel are to provide a good bed and this was certainly not. Breakfast was good
