Ants in my pants!
Front desk person was very helpful, cleanliness was good but there was a lot of ants behind the tv set (a full parade), there was no other room available, but the night shift manager took care of the ants and offer complimentary breakfast for us!

Burlington Getaway
Hilton Garden Inn is our favourite place to stay, but not this time. the breakfast was atrociously priced for being a "HOT" breakfast. Timing was from 7 to 12 - we got there at 9:30 - hot food was cold - potatoes were all dried out, scrambled eggs were congealed and the bacon was not crisp, it was leathery, overly salty and overly smoked - couldn't eat it - noticed others left theirs uneaten too. We would have been better off selecting and paying for individual items (coffee, toast, boiled eggs). Even McDonalds would have been a better choice. Coffee and tea were to be available 24/7 but when we went to get it there wasn't any. Cold water with lemon and lime was available instead, and it was refreshing. Due to low blood pressure, I was feeling extremely cold. We asked our server if the fireplace could be turned on. She asked the front desk 3 times, but nothing happened. They didn't do anything. Also, going into the pool should have been accessible for a wheelchair but was not. Our room was large and there was lots of room for a wheelchair. The bathroom with roll in shower was huge. When we asked if we could have a late checkout, we only got 1/2 hour. Overall, the hotel seemed a bit outdated. We made the best of it and still had a good time and enjoyed ourselves, but we wouldn't stay at a Garden Inn again.
