A perfect honeymoon
We had an amazing stay here (with it were longer) for our honeymoon in Cape Town. Hotel is very modern with decent WiFi, closet and storage space, comfy bed, and amazing breakfasts (with sparkling wine!). The waterfront is pleasant (one of the safest places in Cape Town).

Cape Tour
The staff are really efficient, friendly and helpful. Also a great location in the heart of the Waterfront scene. Literally just a few minutes walk from bars, restaurants, shops, the Wheel, Robben Island ferry etc. Fantastic breakfast including champagne and oysters if you fancy a bit of indulgence.

V and A Waterfront
We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday and the last day. The service was excellent by all the team, the location for the Watefront could not be better and the breakfast surpassed all the other hotels we stayed in,some of which were 5 start and far more expensive

Very good 8.0
Great Hotel at V&A Waterfront
Great location, friendly, helpful staff, spacious room and very good breakfast. Fabulous views of waterfront and Table Mountain from restaurant / breakfast area. Location is within the V&A waterfront and busier / noisier than the sister hotels on the other side of the road. However, there is no noise overnight. Wifi drops out on a regular basis, unlike sister properties. Only one lift, so can be busy at times. No problem if you're happy with the stairs (only 3 floors).

Great hotel, Great location
The hotel was in a great position, within walking distance of the Waterfront and its many shops and restaurants. We could also walk to the town centre in 30 minutes. The room was clean and spacious and quiet at night. We had an issue with the hot water which was dealt with immediately and the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming The only small issue for me was that the swimming pool was in a separate complex across the road and up a small hill.

Would definitely choose to stay here again
Brilliant hotel, location and facilities. Staff were first class throughout and couldn't do enough for us while being very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again. It is in the perfect position to wander out the door and into the Waterfront bustling lifestyle.

Suingle beds as standard in loft rooms?
Arrived on time for booking and had to wait an hour before we could occupy the room. Book a loft room to only find it has 2 single beds pushed together. Request to have a double bed was not met on day one and was told to speak to the duty manager the next day.?????????????? Not good service at all. WI-FI was not good at all.

V&A Hotel for Business Trip
A late booking for me, the staff could not have been friendlier and helpful. the Hotel is in a fabulous location for the Waterfront, it is IN the Waterfront. And the room was very nice. A great hotel.

Great stay at the V&A Hotel
The waterfront was an ideal location for us (2 women travelling) as it meant we could comfortably spend the evenings within walking distance from the hotel with an assortment of eating options. The city tour buses also have a ticket office and bus stop, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. This was ideal as we only had 30 hours to see as much of Cape Town as as we could beofre oue flight. The area is lovely, with scenic spots to have a drink/meal overlooking the harbour and the mountain backdrop. The hotel itself is fantastic, clean place and tentative staff. You will need to cross over the road and climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the gym/spa/swimming pool. Also a great view when working out in the gym. The breakfast was excellent too. The only negative I could think of is that the carpet in the room is a little dated. The piazza facing room we had was very spacious and the beds v comfortable. The piazza noise does die down at night and if you close the windows you can’t hear much from outside.
