To be clear, this hotel bills itself as the oldest hotel in Italy. It is definitely vintage. That is part of the charm. My wife and I found it to be a wonderful place to stay. It is right across the road from the river Arno. People do party on the river walk for an extended time at night. If that is going to bother you, see if you can get a room on the other side. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great! There are only one or two parking spots in the hotel's rear court. $20. Reserve early if you want one. Pisa does not have much parking.

Hotel has not used their potential. Great location, great potential for rooms, but their lack of maintenance and cleanliness affects the experience. Very dusty in the rooms. The experience was good though, as it offers a more local feel and great art around the hotel. Bring slippers! The floors are very cold. The shower was also cold. Breakfast was just the essentials.

The room was adequate. As described and advertised in pictures. Furniture is dated and some of the bathroom tiling looks old, however this was as pictured and expected. All in all a nice character room. The staff were very helpful and helped with booking us taxis late at night. Overall happy to give 5 star rating.

Great option in Pisa

Old classic hotel by the river, great location with easy walk to the Dome and Tower and just 13 min walk from the train station. The hotel is old style but in very good shape, I got a room with river view and it was well worth it. Loved Pisa, underrated stop in la Toscana. Staff makes a great aperitif and there is a very nice terrace to enjoy a sit down. Would stay again.
