Amazing stay
Everything was great and amazing! There is no fault with this hotel. EVERYONE is so approachable and very helpful. My check in was smooth. I already had an agreement with my check in and check out procedure with the management before arriving and everything was logged on their system. Their were no surprises in paying extra a part from the room tax. The hotel is located in a very strategic place. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel at all, especially to families. The room I was given, 4204 is the best! You have beautiful view of Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. My three children loved the swimming facilities and were swimming practically every morning. The life guards were great and very patient with the guests. In particular, I would like to thank Philip, the room Agent. He was very friendly and really loves his job and had excellent customer interaction. Above all, he even left me a very touching note. I wish him well. I will definitely book again at this hotel as I know what service I will get and know for sure the staff will be their go help the guests. EVERYONE at this hotel is a credit to the company and I wish each one of them the best. When I book again in the future, I hope they give me the same room as the views are out of this world! Thank you for an amazing stay. Ahmed

Liked the location. Very close to Financial Centre Metro station. About 15 mins from City Walk which is a 'must do' Nothing particularly unique about the property, it is a little dated and there is no access to the freezer in apartments. the kitchen crockery is very limited though when we asked for additional items it was provided quickly Communication is very poor. At times it felt like staff just didn't listen to your request before answering or acting. There is no awareness for providing vital information to tourists such as information on local things to do and when esp if you don't ask. It best to do a lot of the homework before you arrive

Breathtaking views and Location
Wonderful family apartment. Views from the windows were breathtaking, and location was great, just outside the metro station. WiFi could have been improved, and interior could do with some renovation but the service was incredible.

Really enjoyable stay - great location.
Located right next to 'Financial Centre' train station, one stop from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, buy a NOI travel card from station for 25 AED for travel on trains 3 AED on train to Mall (free Bus to Mall from just outside Mall station) or walk. About 1 mile from 'Le Mer' and 1/2 mile from 'City Walk'. Second time staying here, and really enjoyed our time again. Had requested a room on the 38th or higher floor over looking the Burj Khalifa, and were not disappointed to have room on 39th floor, with amazing views of Burj Khalifa and older parts of the city. We had a three bedroom apartment and there is an additional 40 AED tourist tax per night (used to pay towards Expo 2020) at the hotel. The apartment had Kingsize room, Double room and twin room, two full bathrooms, 1 toilet and hand basin room, kitchen with cooker, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer etc., lounge area and dining area, with narrow balcony. All bathrooms had towels and soaps etc, kitchen did not. Daily room service. Swimming pool located outside on top of car park building was in a great location, as shaded from direct sunlight in the morning which was great for me. Beds were very comfortable and slept well. The air conditioning was settable individually for the bedrooms which was great. The hotel has only a small lobby, but staff very welcoming. There is a large supermarket about 400m from the hotel. We had a fantastic time staying here, and would like to say thank you to all at the Al Salam Hotel.

Nice location but terrible smell in rooms
The hotel is in a nice location and close to the train station. The rooms are of good sizes and okay kitchen if you fancy cooking etc. The downside for me was a distinctive smell, one that was unpleasant. They had to spray the rooms but that did not help. They even offered to change my room, however, upon entering the said new room, i was greeted with the same unpleasent smell so i decided to stay where i was. I gave overall rating as 3, ok, due to its location and location only.
