Ok, wouldn't stay again
Very tired rooms, floors scratched, lights falling off walls, old sheets and towels, scuffed furniture. Staff friendly and location not bad for concerts etc but wouldn't stay again

Convenient & Clean Hotel for Lisbon Half Marathon
I booked this hotel (Located in the Business District of Lisbon) as it was conveniently located for the Rock'n'Roll Lisbon Half Marathon in October - it was very close to the pick up stand for the race, the finish line & the expo. I stayed in a twin room (Room 506) with my friend; despite recent reviews we found the room to be spacious & clean. It had a mini bar (which we did not use) and functioning air-con which was welcomed as Lisbon seemed to be going through a mini heart wave at the time we were there. + 5 mins walk from Oriente Station, 3 metro stops from the Airport + about an 8-10EUR cab ride from the airport + close to local amenities - loads of restaurants in the area & shopping centre (with a supermarket) that closes between 10pm - midnight daily (yes even on Sundays, which was a lifesaver for me when my shoe broke!) + as said before my room was clean and cleaned well for the duration of my stay. the lifts were in working order! + I ate breakfast twice at the hotel (this was not included in my booking so I paid about 8EUR each time). Good variety of food; more than just a typical continental breakfast (in my opinion) + Hotel staff were professional - Room 506 is located next to the train tracks so trains can be very clearly heard when the window was open. Not ideal for v.light sleepers - Hotel Staff could have been a bit more friendly (a smile can make a difference) - Quite far from the Old Town; however the metro shuts at 1am & is easy to use!
