Good value.
A comfortable hotel with attentive staff. Then serve yourself breakfast was plentiful and varied as was dinner but a tad expensive at €30. The swimming pools were excellent and provided a magnificent view of the ocean. The hotel was the terminus of the shuttle bus into Dubrovnik centre which made for easy boarding as the bus was normally packed after a few stops.

Everything was good, however the front desk and concirge were not that helpful or accurate with requested arrangements. However, everyone was friendly. The facility is excellent. The beack at the President needs an install.ent of an easy ingress to the sea. The pebbles are very difficult for so.e to maneauver.

My partner and I recently spent a week at the Valamar Argosy Hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has a fabulous view from the pool area where you can watch the sunset in the evening. There are plenty of sunbeds. The two outdoor pools are great and there is also an indoor pool. The buffet breakfast was fabulous - so much choice and replenished quickly. We had a quick and easy check in. All the staff are lovely. A special thank you to the guy running the aqua aerobics classes which we loved. I had two spa treatments which were both great. The bus stop to Dubrovnik is only 3 minutes' walk from the hotel. I couldn't fault anything with the hotel - highly recommended.

The pool area is lovely & lots of sunbeds - we never saw them all full & found it easy to seat the 3 of us, no matter our arrival time. The food at the snack bar was lovely, breakfast good & the room was modern & clean. A short bus ride from the old town but avoid travelling when cruise ships are departing - around 4-5pm as very congested.
