Poor 2.0
Poorly maintained, shabby, smelly
I anticipated outside noise day and night - near to a busy lorry park and the motorway, so I had ear plugs, which is why I expected the room to cost less; I don't expect budget accommodation to be so badly maintained that it is actually unpleasant to stay in. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful when I couldn't get the key card to work, and the sheets and duvet appeared to be clean, although the mattress protector was filthy. The room appeared to have been hoovered up and the desk and bedside table were clean. There was ample tea and coffee provided. However, theoverpowering smell of drains/sewage from the bathroom hit me as soon as I opened the main door to the room. This wasn't helped by the fact that the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. It helped a bit to close the bathroom door, but not much, as I had no choice but to go in there to wash, etc. The mattress was worn out, you rolled to either side of it with no option to settle in the middle, which I prefer. There was mould along the window ledges, on the bottom of the net curtains and on the shower curtain. Only one window to the room, which fortunately could be locked open, but not quite enough to take away the bad smell from the drains. Not worth complaining to the receptionist as it is clearly the fault of the owners/cheapskates. I'd hate to work there. You couldn't take pride in cleaning up such a dump.

Fair 4.0
Neds and bath / toilet very clean but the walls were grubby with torn paperin places. A couple of holes where screws had been taken out and left. There were footprint marks pn the radiator as if someone had lain on the floor stamping trainers or noots against it. O wiped one off and left the rest. The bed headboard was scratched and paint scraped off. The grouting in tge bathroom between wall and was dirty and there was no toilet roll holder. If I could have afforded it I would have left but fhat was not possible.

Poor 2.0
Dirty seedy motel.
Paid £36 to stay one night but within ten minutes of arriving, we were back in the way can this place call itself a hotel. At best it's a seedy dirty run down dump of a motel which is smack right in the middle of a large industrial estate. Nothing walkable nearby and by a noisy motorway. The tiny room was dirty, with a bed with a sunken middle. Moldy tiles in the bathroom and yellow by the toilet. There was a smell of dampness and the whole set up felt cheap, nasty and really seedy. I would have rather have spent the night in my car.

Exceptional 10.0
Hice hotel quite close to clubs and pubs
We stayed here for the first time 27/5/18 for a over night stay, on arrivel we checked in man on destk was so friendly, we went to our room, very clean coffee/tea facilities good shower nice comfy bed. Went for a bite to eat in restaurant ( didnt start serving till 5.30) but luckily for us the chef was in and because we had to leave at 5.30 ( due to work) he kindly prepared our tea for us, and did a sandwich for us for our return.. After a good night sleep we went for breakfast, great breakfast at great prices, we will definitely return when working in the area again!

Exceptional 10.0
Good place to stay
This hotel is in a trading estate and by a motorway but was quiet at night nothing else around locally to walk to and do. Cheap and cheerful but staff really friendly food really good - we were made to feel welcomed- clean and comfortable and would definitely stay again for business purposes fully suited our needs - no complaints at all thanks to them for looking after us. Cheap but you get what you pay for a bed for the night and food and drink at reasonable price.
