      Excellent location with easy access for bus and ferry. Seafront with stunning panaramic views of harbour and city. Good facillities outdoor and indoor swimming pools and jacuzzi although the latter wasnt always heated. Good varied selection for breakfast. Mainly helpful staff especially in the restaurant.

      there was a damp musty smell in the corridor. Our room on the first floor was dark and dingy.The breakfast was terrible. coffee undrinkable. This has been mentioned on numerous reviews but nothing has been done to change it. One morning we went for breakfast there was not one vacant table and no coffee cups. We left and ate breakfast elsewhere. The pool and terrace was nice but the pool bar had limited choices and too expensive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. The hotel really needs to be updated and modernised as tired looking.

      The hotel is in a great location. Basic but clean.we opted for seaview room with balcony and would highly recommend rather than the rear facing rooms.for those who dont know the area is a little high rise. Decent breakfast , good staff

      staff were brilliant with the exception of the receptionist, we have stayed at Bayview for the last 4 years, had booked specific rooms (slef catering) but had been allocated other rooms, because (the message had not been passed on and no-one toled me - i will re-allocate tomorrow) no re-allocation even tried, air-con was either on or off, and a little spray with bleach would have removed the black around the shower. Location brilliant, people very friendly
