Terrible
Shockingly bad. On arrival, I was given a key to an occupied room. When I returned to reception the guy just thought it was funny and asked ‘was he naked?’ Facilities in the room were poor - safe didn’t work, no hairdryer, no water. I echo what others have said about the poor state of repair of the building - it is in desperate need of maintenance.

Stayed is a bungalow which were told was a free upgrade. Found out later that all the duplex rooms, inc ours, were undergoing a refurbishment programme at the time of our stay. Our room was very dated and generally in very poor condition, though clean. Furniture all in a sad state, as is everything. Peeling paint from the doors. Front door rotting and didn't not close/lock properly. Safe was faulty. Exposed power cables in bedside light. Tiles in the shower covered in mould and in bad state. Shower curtain pole covered in rust. 2 very dated TVs (10+ years old?) – both only showed 4 channels in German in total. Both remote controls were physically broken. AC downstairs looked like it fell out of Noah's arc and although it turned on it did not work at all (hot or cold). Upstairs AC had no remote so we couldn't use it. We asked for a remote and for them to be checked. A maintenance guy came once and did nothing... We asked again at reception. Still waiting… (we’ve been at home for a week now) We were told that we could move to the room next door. The air conditioner unit there was literally hanging from the wall by its power cable. The state of that room was all but identical to ours. We declined the offer… The room would be rated in Europe as a 1 star, a low-2 at the very best. Not worth a third of what we'd paid for it. The only reason I gave the hotel some credit is that the breakfast (included in our case) was nothing short of sensational!
