8/10 Very good

large bathroom with bath , which was nice . Big room and quiet stay. Good value stay . Very friendly helpful staff .
Stephen, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean, comfortable room and cheap. We were just about the only ones there which is a bit disconcerting and as a result the restaurant was closed which we were not aware of beforehand. Hotel is a bit tired too, butfor the price it was really good.
Mark, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

No restaurant so no food available, had to order a takeaway & eat in my room, room was very cold during the night as heating went off & bedding was very thin. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Mark, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It looks like they have just taken over bit wet behind the ears but polite, clean could be better but for the money you cannot knock it the veiws in the Summer must be outstanding 7/10
Dean, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Unfortunately despite it saying on their websites and on hotels.com that dogs can stay for and additional £20 per stay, we were charged £20 per night. Rooms were also very cold. Location is good for walks.
Stacey, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Reception was very helpful.
CAROL, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good for when working away although the restaurant should be up and running by now and also have draught beer on
Dean, 4-night trip

Nice location and a nice place to stop
Garath, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel was very nice, Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, enjoyed the view with a beer on the balcony.
Edward, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel was in a quiet location, the room was clean, tidy of a little dated in its decor. If/ when the owners start to update I’d suggest putting power sockets with USB charging points each side of the bed, the bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep during my stay.
Roger, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The hotel is under new ownership but in general needs to be gutted and started again now.
Gareth, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

All was well but should have put in the website that bar and restaurant was out of action as your in the middle of know where
Dean, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The shower was permanently locked on scalding hot, and there was no food available at the hotel.
C, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Reasonably Cheap, nice location, friendly staff, no issues however the hotel is a little worn out and smells quite musty. No kitchen at all means no dinner or breakfasts are available which isn’t ideal. Apparently it says this on their website but doesn't mention it on booking.cm
David, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Arrived late just to use the hotel to sleep for one night, left early the next morning. The hotel seemed very dated in its decor, however it was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay and the rate was excellent for two rooms.
Mrs. Sarah Jane Worthington, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Stayed here a few times, shame the kitchen wasn’t open for a cooked breakfast, but the room only price was very reasonable. Nice area especially if you like country walks around the Wrekin.
Mike, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very relaxing atmosphere. Quiet and refreshing
Jouline, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

No breakfast option or inclusion, Lift not working, TV intermittently working and kettle broken lid. Parking good and friendly reception and offer of help due to lift not working.
Andrew, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice hotel but wasn’t told no bar or restaurant
simon, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful. The hotel itself is getting dated and in need of a bit of refurbishment. One major issue, no restaurant. No food available at all, no evening meal, no breakfast, even though breakfast was available when I booked. It could be so much more, set in lovely grounds, quite a nice building, but suffering from a lack of attention to decoration.
Karl, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely staff and very peaceful
Shirley, 2-night trip

Everything was great, fantastic location, very quiet, hotel was very nice, fantastic receptionist, wish we could have stayed longer
Gavin, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely location, outside environment was stunning. Property itself was large and quite
Rachel, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We paid £40 and were quite happy for 1 night. We didn’t have breakfast booked. But the restaurant/bar was closed and there isn’t anything close by without a car. But shop/pubs minutes away by car. Room was freezing, lots of people complaining or being given heaters. We were moved and then perfectly warm. Carpets on stairs need a hoover. Nice decor in rooms. They felt clean. Reception were friendly and helpful.
Tracy, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I have stayed at this hotel twice before you then could get food delivered to your room. This time there was no food available and had to go to a pub to find a meal, no breakfast available again had to go out to find some and no bar. Definitely the worst stay I've had there and will not be going again. Hugely disappointed.
