High class hotel but expensive
Usual high quality Hilton hotel but you do pay for the privilege of staying in what is probably more of a business hotel. The restaurant is very expensive so if you are on holiday you are better off eating elsewhere.

Comfort room with no view
Room is spacious and clean. A little disappointed of receiving room with low floor and facing backyard and power station at check-in despite requested higer floor during reservation. The room given is definitely not worth the value I am paying. When asked for twin room, I was told to upgrade to executive floor at additional jpy45k with same room size! Unlike my stay in Hilton Niseko which I enjoyed the most, the stay in Hilton Shinjuku was less than satisfactory.

A king-sized waste of money
While the hotel is lovely and the staff couldn't be more helpful, we had a few annoyances. The king-size room we'd booked wasn't available upon arrival, so we were put in a smaller room for a couple of days. Once we'd been moved to a king-size room, the TV was ancient, we couldn't connect our Chromecast to it so were unable to watch any TV. Why does a more expensive room have lesser facilities than the cheaper? Ridiculous! Another annoyance, our king-size room was below the executive lounge, which at weekends meant we had people stamping about loudly above us from 7am. This necessitated yet another room change. I did not pay out a huge amount of money (for me) to be shunted around like an inconvenience. I really wish I hadn't bothered paying out extra for a king-sized room.

Loved the professionalism of all the staff. Happy to have been given a middday check-in. The bed was SO comfortable, and the pillows were PERFECT. Had a delicious meal in the Japanesr restaurant on Level 2.
