The place is seriously worn down. Carpets can no longer be cleaned, holes in doors only sparsely padded up. a/c so noisy you would rather just freeze or borrow one of their old-style electric heaters. Etc… Staff, however, are so nice and always do their absolute best to accommodate the situation. Apart from powdered scrambled eggs - yack!!! - breakfast is good and diverse

The staff were great. Unfortunately the decor is dated and the rooms are tired albeit clean. Our room (111) had a faulty extractor fan so the room got steamed up on the first evening. This was not a problem the second morning as there was no hot water!! The drainage from the shower and sink was slow so we had to make sure neither overflowed. Breakfast was fine although the coffee machines needed a good clean.

No complaint about staff. Room was much smaller than we were expecting and comparing to a similar priced hotel like premiere inn. Room walls seemed very thin we could here our nighbours on both sides and room above, and corridor. Room was clean and maid did good job. Reception was polite, but matter of fact, rather than welcoming. Car parking £12 a day, and breakfast £12 each seemed pricey extras.

The hotel is good for a weekend stay, i have booked again for next year. Some of the decor is a little tired, and getting food from the bar was a bit slow, but the breakfast was good, the room clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Just watch out for the shower tray, some of them dont drain properly and risk overflowing into the bathroom.

The hotel offers good facilities and is in a convenient locations. The food is ok, but most days I had to wait for a long time to get a table in the restaurant. The jacuzzi was broken and hadn't been fixed for days. Also, something needs to be done about the moth infestation.
