PERFECT LONG WEEKEND
We had a wonderful room with balcony overlooking the sea and also the Old Town was in view. Only a few minutes walk and you are in the heart of the Old Town. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff looked after you. Will definitely be staying there again.

Wonderful old style hotel in a gorgeous setting on the beach within a walking distance from old town. The hotel needs a little update and the breakfast can be better but other than that, it was perfect .

This is such a beautiful property in a perfect location. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful, true luxury by the sea.

Somewhat disappointing
Some friends stayed here before the pandemic and raved about it, so we splurged for this hotel. It seems that things went downhill during the pandemic. Carpets and furnishings are quite faded. The first morning the shower head didn't work properly, resulting in a flooded bathroom to clean up (although maintenance was prompt in replacing the offending showerhead). However, the seals at the base of the glass shower door continued to leak, so the bathroom was rather dangerous for an older guest. The hairdryer was pathetic, the conditioner wouldn't rinse out, and the magnifying mirror was mounted on a wall away from any illumination. The service was okay, but less than I expect in a five star hotel.
