Exceptional 10.0
Pleasant surprise to find such a gem.
Very spacious, well equipped room with kitchen area and large lounge. More like a small apartment. Very close to main shopping street so perfectly placed.

Exceptional 10.0
the hotel was in a very good location, initially difficult to find from the main queen st, but once found it was easy. The staff and the facilities were excellent, however the breakfast was a big let down, it was expensive and choices were limited,

Exceptional 10.0
Great hotel but don't arrive late.
The hotel is beautiful. The staff could not be friendlier nor more helpful. The breakfasts were good. The room was brilliant - apart from the fact there is no clothes storage for anyone staying on the sofa bed. The bedroom wardrobe was big enough to cope with the clothes of two people but more than that sharing the apartment would struggle. The only drawback for me was that I arrived by the shuttle bus from the airport which, most conveniently, stops right outside their door. What is not convenient is the fact that this door is locked at night and the main entrance then is up a very poorly lit side street. This is where my bag was stolen and neither area was covered by their cctv. So, if arriving after 10pm I suggest you take a taxi which will deliver you to the main entrance - but much more expensive than the regular shuttle service.

Very good 8.0
Central hotel with excellent service.
All the staff were very attentive and cheerful. The room was decent size although a slightly musty smell in the bathroom which also had a cracked sink. The cleaners were very good at replacing used coffee soap etc. The instant coffee was much superior to many hotels and a carton of fresh milk was placed in the fridge every day. One downside was that there was a dividing door to the next room and on one of the days we realised the soundproofing wasnt great. We didnt eat breakfast so cant comment. Its very central with its own escalator onto the main shopping street. Woul be happy to stay here again.

Very good 8.0
Nice central hotel
Very enjoyable 3 night stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Reception arranged a late check out for us at no charge and allowed us to use the shower in the gym area before we headed off on our long journey back to the UK. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. The hotel is very central, direct access to Queen Street. Only criticisms are we experienced a lot of external noise in our room (on 2nd floor) due to there being no double glazing. This was mostly from delivery trucks. We realise many buildings in New Zealand are single glazed, but it would be relatively easy and inexpensive to maybe have soundproof curtains at least in the lower rooms which get the most noise. As it was the curtains in our room weren't quite long enough, there always seemed to be a small gap! Shower curtain was the same, didn't stop water soaking the rest of the bathroom. Also one of the female bar staff was quite impolite to us for no apparent reason, although all the other staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant
