Nice terrace but heaters not working so too cold to use in evening and inside area too small for number of guests

    Not amazing but very convenient

It’s a very convenient place to stay and the food at restaurant was very good but it was tired and old, especially the bathroom.

Nice location but overpriced and poor standard. Actual accommodation like a youth hostel building. Limited menu in the restaurant.

The setting is outstanding. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great conversation with Drake who made us great Old Fashioneds, at the bar. The restaurant is incredible - pricey but amongst the best food we’ve had on our trip

  • 6.0.Good

The location was just stunning however there were a number of disappointing things: - there was no housekeeping. We agreed not to have our towels changed but other than that there was nothing. - the room wasn't that clean - quite dusty - the bath room didn't have a working bath plug and only lukewarm water - the lodge claimed eco credentials yet provided deposable plastic cups in the room rather than glasses - staff gave inaccurate information about the national park - service to be seated in the restaurant was incredibly slow

  • 8.0.Very good

The location of the property is excellent, the staff are friendly and the shared spaces in the main lodge re well kept. However, the rooms are disappointing. Our room was very dusty and outdated. The accommodation lodges shared spaces are pretty dirty; having not been vacuumed clearly in a long time. The restaurant food is nice, however waiting to be served and orders taken took on average 30-40 minutes each evening even with a reservation. I think for the price it is very disappointing. It is a captured audience with limited, if anywhere else, to stay in the parks, so you have no choice but to accept unclean and poorly cared for facilities. At the price charged I would expect more money to have been reinvested back into the facilities for guest comfort and enjoyment of their stay in the parks. Disappointing overall sadly, which is a shame as the locations great as are the beautiful parks.
