Most of the staff did not seem friendly/helpful at all which was strange as every other of the hotels i stayed in during my stay at Madeira that was the number one thing. The room (atleast where i was) gave a real 'The Shining' vibe. The bathroom was relatively modern but the rest of the room was too outdated. Not something i really care about but this poor carpet is praying daily to be changed.. Spa was great, small but did the job and looked good. Resturant on site which i did not use. Dont dream of checking in before 15.00

This is our go to hotel when flying out of Madeira Island. Staff is extremely accommodating. Although we left for the airport at 3 AM, we were provided with a boxed breakfasts. It is only about a 10 minute cab ride to the airport and runs around 10 euros. Perfect and convenient.

The property was absolutely lovely. I had no idea there was any renovation going on on the outside until I saw it from my balcony. The workers were extremely quiet. The staff at the front desk offered me a breakfast box since I was leaving early in the morning and accommodated my dietary restriction. My room was upgraded based on my Expedia status. This almost never happens even when I’m eligible for it. If I’m ever back in Madeira, I will definitely be staying here again.

Property was clean, easy to find, within walking distance to the airport. It is VERY loud when trying to sleep due to flights overhead. We splurged and paid for the all inclusive after our flight was cancelled, it was a waste of money. Multiple things were not actually included, and all inclusive received the same treatment as those who were put up by the airlines. It was not worth an additional $159. Rooms are very dated, carpet on the floors. Indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful. Beach is terrible

This is a lovely hotel in a cute town. The pool areas are nice (though I’d have to call the hot tub a “tepid tub”) and the grounds are lovely. There’s a nice promenade outside. The room was nice enough but the lighting was so low you couldn’t see. And no tissues are supplied. In my book, tissues are non-negotiable for a hotel that claims to be 4-stars. The front desk was understaffed at all times. It took 20 minutes to check in (why I don’t know) and far too long to check out. The breakfast was amazing. All in all, if you don’t mind a few inconveniences, this is a nice place to stay.
